Catching uses Aniipods; Aniipod Ultra and Tumbler are launch/event catch items. Special spawn conditions (weather, time, location) are confirmed in-game — we will not publish capture rates before they are verified.
You encounter wild Aniimo across Idyll and catch them with Aniipods. How catching actually works — items, conditions, odds — is confirmed in-game at launch; here is what is official now.
The tools
| Item | Role | Source |
|---|---|---|
| Aniipod | Standard catch device | Official |
| Aniipod Ultra | Premium catch item | Pre-registration 15M milestone / events |
| Tumbler | Catch/event item | Global launch events |
| Sparkling Cube | Event item | Global launch events |
Capture rates, shake chances and item effectiveness are not officially published before launch. Expect any number you see elsewhere pre-launch to be invented.
Catching conditions
The official loop implies location matters — creatures live in Idyll's regions and 'spawn conditions' are a known search topic. Weather, time of day and special events may affect what appears; exact rules are verified at launch.
- Location/region decides the creature pool.
- Special conditions (weather/time/events) may unlock rarer spawns.
- Prismana availability differs by obtain method — see the Prismana guide.
